Expert-Led Pilates Classes in Stirling
Build strength, improve movement and feel better in your body with Pilates designed for real life
At Stirling Pilates, classes are designed to help you build strength, improve mobility, and move with greater confidence in everyday life. Drawing on established Pilates principles and Elaine’s extensive experience, sessions focus on controlled, effective movement that supports long-term health rather than short-term intensity.
My approach

My approach centres on strengthening the core, the body’s central support system, while recognising that the body works as an integrated chain. Exercises are primarily floor-based and low-impact, with no complex choreography or high-pressure environment, making them accessible, safe and effective for a wide range of abilities.
With small class sizes and close supervision, each session allows for individual guidance and adaptation, ensuring exercises are performed correctly and tailored to your needs. Pilates is suitable for beginners through to more experienced participants and regular practice can support:
- Improved core strength and muscle tone
- Increased flexibility and mobility
- Better posture and alignment
- Reduced back, hip and joint discomfort
- Enhanced energy levels and overall wellbeing

HIIT – A Structured Approach to Building Strength and Cardiovascular Fitness
I also offer a HIIT class once a week, providing a time-efficient way to build strength, improve cardiovascular fitness and boost overall energy levels. These sessions combine short bursts of higher-intensity exercise with functional strength work, all delivered in a structured and supportive environment. Exercises can be adapted to suit different abilities, allowing you to work at your own pace while being safely and effectively challenged.

Flexible Online Classes to Support You at Home
For those who are unable to attend the studio or simply prefer to exercise from home, I offer a selection of online classes to provide added flexibility and continuity. While not all sessions are available online, these classes maintain the same structured, expert-led approach, allowing you to continue building strength, improving mobility and staying consistent wherever you are. It’s a convenient option that supports your routine without compromising on quality or guidance.

MOTR
Reformer-Inspired Strength, Balance and Release
The MOTR (Movement on the Roller) is based on the Pilates Reformer and made by Balanced Body, the world's leading Pilates manufacturer. Its resistance pulleys build strength through the slings of muscles connecting the back, shoulders and core, while the curved surface adds the challenge of balance and the benefit of myofascial release. Used standing, lying, kneeling or sitting, it's a versatile piece of kit that — like the Reformer — works best in small groups or one-to-one sessions.
